Mayuge Hope Ministries is a non-profit community Base Organization dedicated to improving living conditions and promoting spiritual growth among the poorest of the poor within and outside Mayuge district.

MHM was founded in 2019 during COVID-19 epidemic that left families torn and handicapped. Since its inception, MHM has partnered with hard-working individuals in the rural community by empowering them to improve their living conditions. Our approach covers five areas of basic human needs

Our work represents a long-term commitment and partnership with the community. The organization is focused on doing transformation efforts with community members as opposed to “for them” or “to them”.

As mindset change and community transformation take hold and become sustainable within the community MHM will gradually expand its area of focus to adjacent Locations in Uganda.

MHM being a Christian centered non-profit, our motivation and the inspiration for our work is driven by our love for Christ and our desire to be His ambassadors in the world for the accomplishment of His purposes. 

During His time on earth as a man, Jesus demonstrated His unfailing love for the marginalized and hurting people of the world. He cared about and ministered to their physical, emotional, and most importantly the spiritual needs. The fundamental objective of His coming to earth was to provide the means for all mankind to be reconciled and be in restored relationship with the one true God. MHM seeks to emulate that level of love. We are in community with the people–no better and no worse.
