MHM aim is to transform generations for Christ through conducting evangelistic outreach campaigns at different locations within Mayuge. MHM teams up with the local Spiritual leaders/pastors to reach out to children in schools and community at large in order to provide them with a Bibles and Christian literature and connect them with local congregations. MHM ministers people through schools, prison and medical evangelism (outreaches)
School outreach
MHM conduct school visits every week to two high school and two primary schools in the region. School outreaches focus on helping students and pupils put their hope in the Lord for their future and help them find the purpose that God has for them individually in their lives. Students and pupils are encouraged to share the Good News with other student or pupils starting prayer and Christian support groups.
wide range of topics will be covered. Examples being considered include:
- Discover the will of God in your life (self identity)
- Walking with God
- Mindset change
- Servant leadership
- Family life
- Stewardship – “He owns, I manage”
- Decision making
Visits to local prisons
Every month, MHM makes at least one evangelistic visit to a local prison. Depression, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual promiscuity, and hopelessness are common among prisoners as they struggle to see the path to a better life. Many prisoners accept the gospel and their lives become filled with a new real hope for the future. Local pastors work with the new prison Christians to help them reconcile with family, the church and the community as they are released from the prison.
Medical outreach
MHM conducts medical evangelism, also known as health evangelism. This is a practice where the ministry provides medical care with evangelistic efforts to address both the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and communities. It involves using healthcare services as a means to share the gospel and demonstrate God’s love. This approach often includes a holistic view of health, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Every month, we visit different health centres and carry out devotion sessions with the patients and their caretakers, pray for the them as well support with small items to meet their basic needs.
